Area Churches and Christian Leaders working together to bring:
- A humble unity in our region
- within the Body of Christ
- as we seek to redirect our activity
- out to the people in the margins
- of our community
Increasing role of Networking within the Body of Christ
Because of our role of working with many churches across the county, we are finding ourselves in a position of helping the body of Christ both network together and mobilize for greater effective ministry. We are also finding people coming to us and asking the question. “Could the Church help” to meet needs that they have within their realm of activity.
We also see a greater desire within the Christian Communithy to “work together” on certain things that indeed “we can do better together – than we can separately.” To these ends, we have an extension ministry of OneChurch called: OneChurch – Community Network
Our goals for this ministry would include:
Mobilizing the Body of Christ out into the Margins of our Community
- Networking and Strategic Partnerships –area Churches / Community Agencies
- Identifying the Resources we already have
- Leveraging those Resources for Maximum Impact and Ministry
- Carry both the Power and Presence of Christ together with practical physical help
- Identifying Intercessor and prayer teams
Helping to create a system of connection for ministry into the community
- OC - Community Network Ministry Teams - within a local church
- Creating Strategic Partnerships for ministry in to other areas of Ministry
- MentoringAt Risk Young People: CHAMPS
- Mentoring Single Mom’s: PCAP
- Feeding the Homeless: Take-It-To-The-Streets
- Unifying the Body of Christ: Kitsap Pastors Network
- National Day of Prayer
- Salad Bowl
- County Wide Men’s Retreat
Raise the financial support needed to support paid staff
Provide a structure and system for mutual exchange of information within the Body of Christ
